Seastrand Designs specializes in Original Designs for Discriminating Brides and Couture Originals Inspired by Sophisticated Clientele.

As a Clothing Design major in college, the debut of her own wedding gown featured in the finale of the spring fashion show launched her career as a designer of one-of-a-kind gowns for private clientele. Her portfolio has grown to include customized dresses for brides, christenings, first communions and red carpet events.

“It always surprises me what will inspire a gown’s design. Sometimes it’s a fabric, but often it’s a walk on the beach or a snowstorm. Recently, a handmade jeweled bracelet caught my eye that began the evolution of a beautiful mermaid gown. It’s such a pleasure to see a client’s individuality shine through in their personally created dress, and a blessing to be a part of their most very special occasions through fashion.”

Maureen’s garments are constructed using fine silks, fashion fabrics, specialty laces and quality notions with special attention to detail and are available in limited numbers due to the highly customized nature of the creation.
